Brilliant!
Informative and entertaining to read!
Balanced and reflective, and with data to support several contentious issues (i.e., the code of ethics of the GJA, the Constitution).
On this last item, however, we will say that there are probably a lot more important matters to be addressed by a re-write/re-adoption of the wart-ridden Constitution. Further, when you have a liberal/capitalist regime, journalism, as well, is a profit making enterprise outside the public domain. Simply, plain/boring "truth" does not sell "newspapers".
READ: "...We are constantly being fed with half-baked stories or half-truths and untruth. Even to the extent of pronouncing people dead in headlines and editorials without any in-depth investigation whatsoever..."
WE SAY: Great observation!
The point about reporting on a "death matter" is to advice and caution the living not to do things forbidden by law, refrain from unsafe behavior, etc. So, for instance, in Ghana today, in the case of a motor vehicle accident, people ought to know time of day accident occurred, weather conditions, "road-worthy" condition of vehicle(s) and speed(s), qualification of driver(s), number of people in the vehicle(s) versus authorized capacity, etc. But, it is the responsibility of the police to ensure these "basic facts" about motor vehicle accidents are quickly provided to the community and the "media".
IN CONCLUSION: We must say that our Ms. Agnes Ansah will be ready, when, upon graduation, she enters the "journalistic" profession. That is, assuming she does not decide to continue her education beyond the Ghana Institute of Journalism (GIJ).
Without meaning to be presumptuous, we hope Ms. Ansah will be able to quickly find a company/agency that fits the mold she expects of a "journalistic" organization worth the name at this “ideal” phase in her life. It may not be the first job, or the second even.
Further, there are other avenues such a fine intellect can thrive on, in today global-mass-media: Radio; Television; Public Relations (for socially conscious organizations?); Law; Government, etc.
We say GREETINGS, Ms. Agnes Ansah!

Sister Agnes Ansah you already have a voice.
My piece of advice is that you must broaden your horizon by reading about famous journalists and their craft, and most importantly, you must paragraph what you write.
