I am heir to the Nsawam-Adoagyiri stool, and so I am closer to the Gas than most of you, having also a remarkable percentage of Gas in my family. Anybody who says Kennedy Agyapong cost NPP the Ga vote is a liar. The fact of the matter is that there are more ethnic Akans resident in Accra, including a sizeable percentage of Akwamu and Akyem chieftains, from the first known Ga King, Takyi-Tawiah, or Tackie-Tawiah, than full-blooded Gas. You have to know what you are talking about. This is typical NDC tack of political argumentation.
I am also a grandson of the Paramount King of Peki (Pakyi) Blengo (Abenase); Anlo-Ewe/Akan bad blood is ancient. Fortunately or unfortunately, even Victor Owusu who complicated matters received 4 parliamentary seats from the Volta Region in 1979, including the seat of Dr. Agama, whom Victor Owusu had personally insulted in Parliament.
The present infighting in the NPP is a healthy prelude to serious talks about reconciliation. We cannot have a party in which one faction would rather have the NDC running our national affairs, merely because they hate the guts of Akufo-Addo.
Well, if Akufo-Addo loses Election 2016 primarily because of the pro-Kyerematen nihilists, trust me, we will collapse the NPP permanently!
Maybe we need to revert to our traditional states and stop this chimerical nonsense about Pan-Africanism.
If we, Akans, cannot even live together and respect one another, how can anybody talk about Pan-Africanism with a people whose languages and cultural habits are very different from our own?
We have tolerated enough of the Kyerematen/Kwabena Agyepong/Ohene Ntow/Afoko/Arthur Kennedy nonsense.
Time to either move forward, progressively, or dismantle the party and let Kufuor keep his doctorates and national merit honors the way he likes it.

We saw how the Professor and his ghoulish cohorts defended the highly offensive outbursts of the same Kennedy Agyepong, regarding the Ewes and Gas, and Osafo Marfo's stupor of blatant ethnic rabble-rousing.
Now, one would think that as uniquely academically superior to all others as the Professor wants the whole World know of him, this Akufo-Addo's 'Goebbels' of a Professor would have an inkling of the damage he and other bigots have been doing to the NPP Party.
Even if the Professor's claim of justification to the wild accusations by Kennedy Agyepong against President Kufuor, Mpiani et al., were to hold, the very truth that most of us mortals, with just enough brain-power to know who our minds direct us to vote for, might miss the excuses he is making for Kennedy Agyepong and simply react to withdraw our support for the side Ken favors, which is Nana's.
Just as Sarpong rightly pointed out, every single vote counts to the winning or losing trajectory. So, why risk losing any where they could be saved for winning?
It is the megalomaniacal complacency that the Professor pushes the Akufo-Addo camp, however subtly, to indulge in that has caused the twice-unsuccessful NPP Flagbearer his losses at the Elections.
The Professor's attitude that all those votes are dispensable, and not important for Nana's win, could be best described as grotesquely impudent and conceited, and loosely anchored in shoal logic.
But more importantly, folks must not lose sight of how the Professor dumps dehumanizing insults on all who dare call him out on his claims. He has almost invariably called all who have dared challenge him 'bastards', illiterate, etc., yet his own claims are debatable.
It is highly risible that the Professor often cites his familial linkages dating back into antiquity for some deniability of his bigotry, while he is actively engaging in the vice. Maybe, the all-knowing, perennial 'stench-hosting-nostrils' owner Okoampa-Ahoofe, has forgotten that even Hitler was said to have had Jewish ancestry in his lineage. It is therefore not who you relate to that necessarily always dictates your action. We all know that the Professor is married to an Ewe but he wastes no time to trash Ewes at the earliest opportunity. He surely has no respect for his wife and her ethnicity. That speaks volumes and more of the type of person the Professor is, rather than who he relates to.
If such are the brains that affect Akufo-Addo's decisions, then we need not wonder why he has been chasing his own tail around at the same spot, when he is supposed to advance on his lifelong ambition of winning the Presidency.
If the Professor is so steeped in Solipsism, why does he even bother that anyone should vote for his Uncle?
