The secretary said he was bereaved and was at Kumasi eating fufu when he received a call from the personal secretary of Mother-killer Blay abut the meeting. How can this happen in a well organized organization that a fool like you is ridiculing Kwabena Agyapong? If not for political destructive behavior of Fredie Blay and the By-hook or crook president attitude of Akuffo Addo, why couldn't they wait for just a day to wait for the chairman? Mr Kwabena Agyapong for all his faults, shortcomings, and perceived arrogance is not NPP's main problem. In this current situation, the problem is not that Mr Kwabena Agyapong chose to say 'he was eating fufuo in Kumasi'. No doubt, Kwabena Agyapong does not do humility and his 'fufuo' response is unwise.
However, trying hard to blame the NPP's current crisis and ills on Mr Kwabena Agyapong, while ignoring the obvious 'power play', divisive actions and moves by a clique to undermine the authority of the party's General Secretaty, Mr Kwabena Agyapong and the Chairman, Mr Paul Afoko because they're not considered Nana Akufo-Addo "loyalists" is embarrassingly disappointing.
Where is Nana Akufo-Addo in all this? Nana Akufo-Addo is the leader of the party, the NPP. I find it surprising that he has so far failed to show leadership in managing the party's unity. While the NPP can move on leaving Mr Kwabena Agyapong to enjoy his 'Kumasi fufuo', the party should fear the worst.
