I am sure the poor girl was threatened with harm by the KKD propaganda machine into withrawing the case.Let us all pause to consider this case:A 50 year old predator meets a young girl for the first time,throws the unsuspecting young,naive girl a pick up line that "i will make you the face of Ghana tourism".A few minuites later,lures her into his hotel room and has "consensual sex" with her in the bathroom?
I understand the lawyers at the AG's office are underachievers who could not cut it in the private sector and had to seek refuge in the AG's office so we were not expecting much from them,anyway.The real victims here are this young girl and others alike who are scarred forever.I hope this KKD guy meets his equal on the street of Accra one of these days!

Then came the announcement by the prosecutors who had earlier on said that they could go on without the young complainant now saying they could not go on because she was not there to give evidence. God will judge us all.

And to those disappointed in our justice system, let me remind them that it is a function of the universal right of humans that if a case cannot be proven beyond a reasonable doubt, then a defendant walks free. Thus it is hypocritical to complain about our justice system which has correctly freed a person because he cannot be found guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.
What we must fear is not so much that KKD walks free today, but that educated minds like yours would rather resort to vigilante justice or even trial by ordeal to settle your grievance as in the days of yore. Now that is the real danger to the rule of law posed by knuckleheads such as this naive writer.
