WE SAY: If that means the GES allowed the teaching of the the Koran in every so-called Islamic Schools, to every child, as part of the curriculum, then the GES erred. Let the kids for learn the Koran in their parents mosques. Wrong-headed policy that ought to stop, if the government is funding those programs.
THEN THIS: "(Government is)...now seeking to abolish the very reason the Churches established Schools - to evangelize. We consider this BREACH...as GOOD REASON for the Churches to take back their Schools and run them as private institutions since every RELIGIOUS BODY IS FREE to establish her own school..."
WE SAY: Obviously, if the Church is paying for everything, including the salaries of all teachers, there should not be any argument, here. Similar to above, if the government is funding the cost, then, those expenditure should stop.
ITEM: The idea that these arrangements have worked in the past does not mean they work today, or that, they are the best ideas. Let's being to double up on secular schools. That is the better approach to development, to critical thinking skills and rational decision making that have the public interest exactly at the center.

Consider these:
Muslims are not allowed by their religion to eat food, especially meat, prepared by non muslims as non muslims are seen to be ritually filthy.
Muslims are required by the provisions of their religion to be governed by sharia law and not the secular one that the government provides.
It is not permitted for muslims to be governed by unbelievers as they cannot be committed to the implementation of the sharia.
The fact is that muslims will often pretend to be peaceful and satisfied with the status quo until they become the majority through high birth rates and sustenance of their community by threatening fellow muslims who want to leave their religion.
In pursuance of religious freedom for muslims, the questions are;
(1) Would the gov't be willing to ensure meals for students and state events are prepared by only muslims to meet their halal requirements? Or would it be required by gov't that meat shops and abattoirs are ran by only muslims as has been the case in secular Tanzania?
(2)Would the gov't be willing to substitute the current system of governance for sharia, in which case no non muslim would be allowed in gov't?
If NO, does that not constitute religious intolerance on the part of government?

Christians and muslims never fight,are not fighting and will never fight no matter what. Let us desist from making derogatory comment and apportioning blame as the stakeholder come to a peacefull solution. Stay blessed.

The above reference doesn't commensurate with the freedom Muslims are talking about.
What they are saying is that, practice your religion whiles the Muslims also practice theirs.
There should be no compulsion in any religion. Christians and Muslims have lived together in Ghana harmoniously for a longtime. We shouldn't create unnecessary friction between us. We are all brothers and sisters.
