Thanks for starting this discussion. For the sake of being on the same page, some of us will appreciate it if you can list the recommendations that the supreme court made regarding reforms the EC must make, then we can assess how well or poorly the EC is doing on the implementation front. This will make it clear for everybody how well or badly the EC is performing. I am sure this will bring about the buy-in you are seeking as the fact will speak for themselves. What do you think?

The President shall act on the advice of the Council of State means the President is barred from the nomination, vetting and selection process. Those who framed the Constitution were keenly aware of the impropriety inherent in allowing the President, a political player, to play a critical role in selecting the political referee. Nevertheless, out of deference for the office of the President, the framers allowed him, as the Chief Executive Officer, the honour of “appointing” the candidate selected by the Council of State. In this case, all the President is required to do is to issue the appointment letter under the Presidential seal but no more.

If you know that you have no evidence of whatever you are saying here then you better keep quiet.When you say that the present voters register is bloated then you must come out with all the constituencies that are affected.Then again you must be able to tell us the figures of eligible voters in every constituency.It's very funny to make allegation that has no basis.Now listen,you can never use the statistics in different countries to compare that of Ghana,it' absurd.What you have to do is to conduct your own census in every constituency and compare it to EC's present voters register if you want to be taking serious.Failure to do this makes you look too green.Thank you.

Haba, can't we talk about isses affecting Ghana without NPP, NDC. These were Supreme Court recommendations and not NPP. Haba. They were recommendations and not directives.
