You are becoming too known and by the way, Who made you an English teacher on this forum? Don't reduce yourself to the level of those Trokosis who think writing and speaking good English makes one knowledgeable. Those days we were collecting all the awards in all subjects including English which you claim to be masterful but saw the need to read the sciences . In most cases the Arts was a reserve for the weak minds including yourself. Prove me wrong if you had your education in the early 70's where only sharp brains were made to go the science class.

1. Writing and speaking good English is at least a sign that one is well-read and can communicate his/her ideas clearly. English is the mother of all the subjects! If you collected an award in that subject, you will not write trash grammar like, "..... writing and speaking good English MAKES one knowledgeable."
2. If your science studies could not teach you the basic logic that our humanity is not determined by our ethnicity, then it is for nought, and you will remain a loser forever.
3. I did science at the O'level myself but realized earlier that it is a bridge to no-where, as evidenced by your incapacity to use it for anything in your own life. I then diverted to study English, became certified in the teaching of the subject here in America, and went on to become a lawyer, here in America. I don't need anybody's permission to teach English; I earned that qualification by dint of hard work.
4. Losers like you with no identities will continue to play second fiddle forever, trapped in the psychosis of your arrant bigotry.
5. What did your science do for you, except to foreclose your imagination for you to purvey arid stupidity? Tell us what you have created with your seventies science.
6. I had my secondary education in the eighties, but the paucity of your reasoning is such that you are a century behind. Go figure out, fool!

Dr. SAS, you have my condolences. These folks who consider themselves and their idols as above reproach might want to eat you alive. They abhor any opposition to their views, whether such critique is presented cordially or not, and even if it were to save them from some potential danger.
To such folks, criticisms are put-downs that their egos cannot accommodate. That attitude smacks of intolerance of diverse opinions, a basic requirement for every Democratic Society.
I think we all need someone to correct us when we make errors. The fact that English is not our mother tongue does not excuse us from writing or speaking it badly, and we should welcome any well-meaning corrections to our errors in using it. It is, and will continue to be, our working Language, until a local Lingua Franca is established to replace it. Therefore, we need to use it well in order to minimize any inadequacies from miscommunication.
I remember when you corrected my very elementary error of using the word 'course' instead of 'cause'--a common error I might have avoided before, even in my very rudimentary days of learning English. I was grateful for your correction, and did not feel humiliated.
I think we should not feel ashamed to be corrected, especially when we are using others' Language. Even People who speak English as a first Language, could make simple mistakes, and do not mind being corrected. I do not understand why we should be fighting over something as little as pointing out someone's grammatical errors.
Many errors in writing could often be caught, if we could spend a little more time to proof-read the material before publication. Time factor and emotions we sometimes write with are often part of the reasons why we miss some of these errors.
So, we should all humbly accept the corrections others may offer to our errors. Those mistakes should not take away from our overall intelligence, especially if we intend to learn from and use them to improve our writing skills.

I usually find Okoampa's scripts tasteless, if not senseless. However, on this occasion, I'm tempted to agree with some of the things he has to say. I cannot understand why Arthur K thinks it is his democratic right to religiously oppose Nana Addo, but it's undemocratic if others equally religiously support his bid to lead the party again. This is simply intolerance being celebrated in the name of democratic principle.
In any case, Nana Addo cannot impose himself on the party. He has to be voted for, contest anyone else who is interested in the position. You'd expect Nana's opponents to make their case why they're better candidates rather than crying over why Nana wants to contest again and using dirty tricks to soil his image. That alone is an admission that they can't win fair and square against him and that he's the best candidate for now.
By the way, if I recall correctly, did Arthur K not threaten to contest Nana Addo if the latter decided to go for the presidential primaries again? Well, Nana has declared his attention. Let's see Arthur K declare his own intentions and stop his infantile potshots.

To the contrary, it has been the machinations of Nana's camp that many have thought of as coercing competitors out of the way to offer Nana unopposed candidacy.
Many, like me, share much of Arthur K.'s views on Nana's third time of contesting for the Flagbearer of NPP. There are many reasons why Nana Addo could not win the two previous Elections, and folks are denying those reasons for the sheer obsession with him. Those same reasons would be the bane of NPP to replace NDC at the helm of the Nation's Affairs.
If you want to know what tricks Nana's camp has ever attempted to sneak him past every potential contestant, just check some of the previous Articles Professor Okoampa-Ahoofe, Jr. has written on Nana's candidacy.
If you are not aware of how some of Nana's supporters, have ever since the end of the Supreme Court Election protest case, been trying to impose him on the Party, unopposed, then you are either a new comer to News from Ghana or you simply do not want to acknowledge the truth.
Arthur K. has every right to argue against Nana's pursuance of the Flagbearership, just as the Professor, a relative of Nana's, has to criticize the Arthur K., except that the Professor's criticism is laced with unwarranted personal insults at Arthur K., something we should not encourage in any truly democratic environment. Freedom of Speech does not mean Freedom to insult.

That any one who try to assit this brainless cocaine addict is an instant enemy to these retarded bush dogs like Ahoofe and Akadu Mensema? Ghanaians have to continue to thank God for all the revelations, as to what will happen to this country, should they make the mistake of giving power to this Ashanti/Akyem tribal bigots. Ghana will forever be doomed. Foolish and useless insane idiots like Ahoofe thinks Ghana is for them and that they only have the right of its ownership. Ghanaians, be wise and wake up and stand up to these primitive animal feces eating rats! If within themselves they can not tolerate one another on issues of factual and frankness, how much more on those on the opposite side of the political divide? Wouldn´t mother Ghana be a better place without these brain deformed and low IQ idiots!

You've finally done it for the Kyebi clan Dr. Kwame Okoampa-Ahoofe. To think you’re a member of Ghana's presumed intellectual elite class and or a member of the NPP with a so-called inherited intellectual elite status is to expect at the very least some principled logical thought process capacity along with intellectual honesty. Unfortunately you have brought neither to the table with this poorly written article.
How is your kinfolk Nana Akufo-Addo any different from the barbarians that roamed prehistoric sub-Sahara Africa if you advocate he get into the gutter and wallow in the filth with others because others choose to dwell in the gutter? If your cousin Nana Akufo-Addo and or his loud-mouth good for noting side-kick sir John think they outdid it with their typical uncultured Kyebi war cry during the 2012 and are ready to seek forgiveness then let it be. I know you, Dr. Kwame and your side kick Dr. Akadu Mensama, love to pride yourselves in the misogynistic culture you've made it your home of comfort but Nana Akufo-Addo is running for the presidency of Ghana and not of the barbarians of Africa of old. It is never too late to be remorseful even if it is pretentious; it beats an unrepentant jackass any day of the week.

Here comes the Professor of Insults, again! Why couldn't he just tackle Arthur K.'s contention on the merits of its argument alone, but resort to such insipid personal and bigoted insults?
Why does Okoampa-Ahoofe, Jr. even have to bring the late President Mills into this and hurl such insidious ethnic insults at him, calling him "Simpa Prako", whereas Arthur K.'s arguments did not even remotely touch on any ethnic reasons for opposing Nana's candidacy?
It is very sad that the Professor cannot see how his very eloquent and stentorian but reprehensible attacks on apparent opponents of Nana's often invoke some resentment against Nana, and even NPP.
Many who oppose Nana's candidacy do not do so on ethnic basis but for other pertinent reasons. Therefore, the Professor's virulent attacks on anyone who dares criticize or oppose Nana Akufo-Addo's bid for the President of Ghana must be vehemently condemned.
Why should anyone act like Ghana would cease to exist if Nana Akufo-Addo does not become the next President of Ghana, and that no one in NPP should even think of holding his feet to the fire in contesting with him for the Party's Flagbearer?
If Nana wants the Nation to believe the NPP is the best Party around, with the deepest commitment to Democratic Principles, then it behooves him to nudge the Professor and his cohorts who are taunting other Party members into line.
How many times will he lose before he gives up?
