I still believe that Nana Opoku Ware has not done enough for those living in the Ashanti Region; he seriously needs wise men to advise him.
As the occupant of the golden Stool and the 'Lord' of Ashanti Region, he needs to seek the welfare of those that dwell in the Ashanti Region. His constant affiliations and friendship with political parties and personalities are undermining his lordship.
It is unconscionable and unforgivable to see the King remaining mum on the NHIS Capitation being piloted ONLY in the Ashanti Region for years, while he takes the plane and go to South Africa for his medical check-ups; what nonsense is that? What about the dwellers of Ashanti Region? Don't they deserve better access and delivery of Healthcare? Unfortunately, some morons calling themselves Asantes found themselves to walk over themselves to go and meet Otumfuo on his return from South Africa.
Currently, a stroke patient from Offinso could be refused admission at KATH, because he or she was not registered there. And someone living in Kumasi could be refused medical attention in Konongo, if unfortunately- and may God forbid - he or she had a severe headache or Malaria while visiting a friend.
And here, let no one makes mistake or turns this into tribal rants, because, we have Dagombas, Dagartes, Ewes, Fantis, Gas, Ahantas, Akyems, Mamprusis, etc... I mean every tribe living in the Ashanti Region. Yet, it looks like Mahama and his bunch of useless NDC idiots think it is time to punish ONLY the Asante people. And sadly, the King is not doing anything about it because of his association with idiotic political leaders.
One can hardly find a pathway around Kejetia, Central Market and Adum to walk on. Traders, Kayoye and dog-chain sellers are everywhere. Yet, the idiotic Kumasi Mayor is doing nothing about it and Asantehene and Asanteman look on. What nonsense is this?
It is about time, Asanteman got their acts together and warn the occupant of the Golden Stool that, his position is not permanent; his forbears have been removed from the stool because of idiocy or incompetence and he too could be removed from the throne.

It is becoming very sickening and alarming the rate at which the beauty of the Ghanaian culture is being thrown to the dogs. Nowadays people who don't know their left from their right have the audacity to insult people in authority with impunity. Do we call that DEMOCRACY? Otumfuo can express his opinion about some gov't policies which he thinks cannot inure to the benefit of the people but he cannot stand on the way of the gov't in implementing its policies. After all, the gov't is accountable to the people and not the Asantehene. Why blame the Asantehene for the health pilot project taking place in the Ashanti Region? What do you want him to do? Kajetia and some places are congested because decongestion exercises in our cities have been highly politicised. Until we stop being hypocrites and call a spade a spade, our cities will continue to be congested and dirty. Let us go back to our days of old when respect is accorded the elderly and people in authority. We should hence learn to discuss issues objectively devoid of insult and suggest possible solutions to problems confronting us as a nation. In so doing, others will see us as practicing democracy and not DEMOCRAZY!!!
