NOBODY DOUBTS THE ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS OF MR. BAWUMIA. HE IS A GHANAIAN AND MUST GIVE CONCRETE SUGGESTIONS FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF THE ECONOMY THROUGH PUBLICATIONS AND IT IS UP TO THE GOVERNMENT WHETHER TO USE IT OR NOT. IF THEY LEAVE THE ECONOMY FOR SO LONG TO DECLINE, IT WILL REACH A STAGE THAT IF HIS PARTY COMES TO POWER, THEY WILL HAVE IT DIFFICULT TO OVERCOME THE PROBLEMS. ARE WE NOT FOR THE BETTERMENT OF THE PEOPLE AND NOT THE GOVERNMENT PER SE?

In 2008, Kufour's Government was seriously broke, it needed GHc125million to balance the budget desperately. In the end they had to sell the enhanced Ghana Telecom to raise the money. Bawumia, the Deputy Bank of Ghana Governor at that time was as clueless as all of them and couldn't them solve the financial difficulties they placed Ghana in. Instead they had to fall back on companies built by Nkrumah and Rawlings to survive

Bawumia is a liar; at least the elections portrayed him as such. He denied (I beg your pardon) or showed he wasn't [aware] Sir John called for NPP win after the votes during the elections when we all saw how that crook endeavored to preempt the EC like Jake and co did in 2004.

Ghana has scanty resources because the resources have been reduced after using them for many years. Oil is not in large quantity as compare to other countries in Africa.

Thank so much for your posting. Sometimes it dawns on me to think that Ghanaians and Africans in general are cursed. I spent six years teaching in South Africa and I can attest to the fact that that country is more developed like an European country just because of the whites. Despite our so-called independence, Ghana is still backward due to our stupidity, envy and lack of vision. I agree with you that Bawumia and Frimpong Boating can transform Ghana into a developed nation because of their respective brains. God bless you.
