You were spot on to notice that his is a psychological warfare meant to weaken the resolve of the party followers in the matter of the Supreme Court Case, and also to bring the party leadership into disrepute.
Imagine the manner he described Dr Bawumia-'naive, superstitious, etc'. Surely he cant expect others to describe him any better. For sure Dr Bawumia is doing all he can to foster the cause of the Party. He Tarzan on the other hand is focused on ridiculing the party leadership in the vain hope of causing disaffection among the party followers. His intentions are surely evil disguised as free speech.
I also agree with Dr Arthur Kennedy but only to the extent that the party discourse must be decorous and devoid of insults. However, he(Kennedy)cant expect Tarzan to say his mind freely and others to keep mute and only listen. The kind of democratic discourse he (Kennedy) is articulating goes somewhat like "when some of us speak our mind, no matter how vile, let no one respond in kind". Surely, Dr Kennedy must understand that "true democracy" is actually what is unfolding in the matter of Tarzan. Tarzan had his say and others have had theirs. That is it! Free speech is 'equivocal'!. It cannot be that to respond to Tarzan is undemocratic no matter the nature of the response.
