It is sad that preaching the Word is becoming a nuisance to the society due to the attitude of some of our brothers and sisters. If you want to caution them about the nuisance - especially noise pollution - then you become a messenger of the devil who want to disrupt promoting the word of God. If you speak against the dubious and devious attitude of some of the leaders (priests/pastors/ bishops/ Reverends/prophets)the will invoke the wrath of God against you claiming that you must not speak against the Lord's anointed as if the Lord's anointed is beyond criticism, advice,admonition the law of the land. Are they reading a different Bible than the one I have?
Are they not to obey authorities? Are they not to care for the poor the needy orphans, widows and widowers in the society? Why do they take even the penny from the poorest to line their pockets
Why are the authorities not enforcing the law of the land by which we are all to abide by? Are they scared of the threat of cursing, non-political support and ties to those who are breaking the law. It is really disheartening of what we do in the name of God. God help Ghana

This is unaccpetable behaviours of all religiously groups in the country,and whichmust be absolutely condemned in totality.
both christians and moslems are found in this shameful act with the moslems being the worse offenders.

It is an established fact that their calls to prayer are noisy but it goes on for some few minutes at a time.. this goes to show that the total number minutes during which such sound emanates from their minarets is far less than the very loud sounds (chorus voices and musical instruments) that comes from our single Christian church service that goes on for hours, not to mention the all night services.
How many times have you seen Muslim preachers on our buses or in our markets with a megaphone or on any of the street corners? ; Next to none. This goes to confirm the writers point that we (Christians) are the worst offenders as we encourage these, half-baked, self-made, money seeking pastors to be indiscipline and I find this to be more unchristian than a whole plethora other vices. We make so much noise on morality interlaced with opportunistic tendencies, that don’t have any basis in Scriptures; making us the worst offenders of our very own Biblical edicts. We may find ourselves among those Jesus Christ will shun for proclaiming/invoking his name in the wrong way; as stated in the Gospel…
