Need we tell a mournful tale
Of our beloved Prof who left us in a dale
Too soon, too soon
You left us in a swoon
Nostalgic sentiments of you balloon in a gale
Need we stoke embers of our eyes
Millions of flickering flames
Drenched and doused by tears so profuse
Your death pokes us in the face
Even the 3 Gorges Dam in China
Cannot hold the flurry flood of our tears
Need we bellow and yell like willows
In death you are on top
We are below at our nadir
