Marcus, the two restrictions are different. One is temporary (enslavement), the other is permanent (amputation). A temporary setback SHOULD NOT stop us (Africans) from attaining what God has planned for us, by endowing us with so much human and natural riches. I happen to have been associated with many high institutions in several developed countries, and the brightest students I ever met were Africans. I happen to have travelled widely (at the risk of disclosing my identity); and after all those rounds, realize how beautiful and blessed Africa is, and it's immense potential. We have had just had bad leaders: we have let people with NO DRIVING LICENSE drive our development bus into the ditch. The sad thing is that we don't even know what is going on, so we may not be able to fix it.
