Homosexuals Have Rights Of Association - Ndebugri

Homosexuality would seem to be the one topic that unites the leaders of the world's faiths.

The most fashionable argument against it is that it undermines the institution of marriage and procreative sex. Ok, if sex without the possibility of creating life is wrong, then religious leaders would have to go back to warring against masturbation, and what about sex among the infertile? Or sex among people over 70 +?
Ok as “NORMAL” person homosexuality is "wrong" and it violate “YOUR” religious beliefs. –RIGHT? So what is NORMAL?
The other moral argument put forward by the world's great faiths is that homosexuality is "unnatural." But then what is NATURAL?

The Bible, the Noble Quran are important books - and they were written by good and brave men. But they were men of their time - they had flaws and were not fully enlightened as Jesus or Mohammed was. Jesus for example preached love and tolerance and he included prostitutes and those who had been shunned by society amongst his closest friends. No real person of faith would see homosexuals as less equal than heterosexuals, and those people being a Christian, Muslim, Hindi or Jew etc who honestly believe that is what these religious preaches have a long way to go in my opinion. We are all human, and not one person is perfect.

The book of Christian mention that Jesus Christ said, "Let the one without sin cast the first stone." and "Forgive 70 x 7" Too many hypocrites are throwing bricks at everyone else. He also said: "Take the log out of your own eye before you try to get the splinter from someone else's" "Love your enemies and bless them." "Judge not lest you be judged - you will be judged with the same measure with which you judge others." If we all followed the teachings of Jesus this world would be a far better place.
As human beings No matter what we say, someone will always be offended by it. As human beings with choices -if we stop speaking we would be a silent, and ineffective. As human beings if we deviate from the “NORM” might spark outrage, so with our mouths shut, and without any regard for our own sensibilities and physical wellbeing, we will be a MINO (which meant Married In Name Only) for my pastor, the family and the society as a whole and make the person we married feel miserable. Human condition of marriage without the existence of love is absolutely futile, so why make a MINO for society.

if the “The Bible is Library of book; inspired writings by Jewish Prophets” then in this 21st century a homosexual can also write The BOOK of BIBLE to suite his preferences or love choices. Like I s said before -The Bible, the Noble Quran are important books - and they were written by good and brave men. But they were men of their time now a modern version could be in the market soon incorporating modern ideology of freedom of choices.
Homosexuality is here to stay and there is nothing we can do about it

Now we are in the MODERN WORLD 21st CENTURAY

As a person, I have always regarded my personal spiritual beliefs, and those of others, as their own private business which I don't discuss. I am not in favour of any organised religious’ proscriptions on people's choice of life. These have all too often been used throughout history to damn people to an existence in misery, not something which is the core tenet of any world religion.
Only you and your God know whether or not you have tried to live to the best of your abilities, no one else has the right to judge.
Personally, I always obey the Law and treat strangers and friends alike as I would wish to be treated myself. I struggle with those who would wish to impose their selfish view of life onto me, but forgiveness is at the heart of ALL religion.

Again personally, all sorts of sins involve the implicit rejection of God or His commandments and that homosexuality is on par with covetousness, malice, envy, murder, slander, insolence, rebellion against parents, ruthlessness, deceit, pride, and the like—not one destined to destroy society.

ALL Gay people I know do exactly what a heterosexual person would do except for what happens between the sheets which quite frankly has nothing to do with you or me anyway! The sooner people realise that Gay people are no different to everyone else the better. The same as Women are treated equally, Northerners, Akans and the Ewe people are treated equally !

So why do we want to circumcise our male children? One can argue that it is a personal choice- so is Homosexuality.

So is wearing of Jeans, the so called Wedding that has replaced THE GHANAIAN CULTURAL OF MARRIAGE etc. How many Ghanaians even KNOW their own culture or speak their own CULTURAL MOTHER LANGUAGE? Why are some people moving from the village to the cities? Why do we Now close our doors when we go to bed at night? Why are we not living MUD houses?

In the 21st century, I believe the mission of God would have been defined by a NEW, more profound awareness of CHOICES which is the sanctity and dignity of every human life including the wedding. Like I keep saying the Bible was written by the POEPLE of their TIME. Now everything is MODERN, NEW, BIG HOUSE, the Big EUROPEAN`s wedding. More than ever before in human history, we share a common ideology in the form of FREEDOM THIS FREEDOM THAT. And that, my friends, is why we have the CHOICES and if the same genders want to love themselves and live happily after - who am I to tell them otherwise.
Homosexuality is here to stay and is the people choice just like you have choosing to eat LONG GRAIN RICE from India, the USA etc. And these are all part of OUR diminishing CULTURE PLeeeeassse.
My friends don’t EVEN USE the world CULTURE. Ghanaians have SOLD THEIR CULTURE and replaces with EUROPEANS and NOW the CHINESE!!!!!
Homosexuality is not OUR CULTURE we can accept it just like those mentioned only if we face it together JUST LIKE ACCEPTING EVERYTHING EUROPEAN, AMERIAN and the CHINESE
