Aduana Stars strikerthis season Yahaya Mohammed is confident of scoring a lot of goals in the Ghana Premier League following a blistering start.

The 30-year-old became the first player to score a hat-trick this campaign, as his side handed Inter Allies a 6-0 drubbing last weekend.

He has assured supporters of going for a double figure this term to help the club defend the title successfully.

“It was a good feeling scoring three goals. I am extremely excited about that feat,” Yahaya was quoted as saying by Ghanasportsonline.com.

“I will make sure I continue with this performance. It is my target as a striker to score in every game that I play and help my club win games in order to achieve our aim," he said.

“But that comes with a lot of work as well as dedication and I must work towards achieving that too. If I had my way, I would like to score a hat-trick in every game I play for Aduana, but obviously that is highly impossible to achieve," he added.

Yahaya currently tops the goal king chart with three goals and one assist, on tie with Wafa's youngster Aminu Mohammed.
