The overlord of the Dagbon Traditional Authority, Yaa Naa Abubakari Mahama ll has hailed the impact of Kurt Okraku on the career of one of the lands most illustrious sons, Baba Rahman.

The Dreams FC CEO is the man responsible for spotting and nurturing the talent of the Black Stars and Chelsea defender.

Yaa Naa applauded the GFA Presidential hopeful during his visit at the Gbawa Palace on Friday.

“Baba Rahman is from Yendi and is now a top player through your efforts. We applaud your efforts in finding talents from the hinterlands like you did with Baba.

We are proud of Baba considering where he is now and all became possible through your efforts. Keep doing the good works to make Ghan Football better”

Rahman joined Kotoko on loan from Dreams FC during the 2011/12 season where he became and instant hit before moving to German side Greuther Furth.

The 25 year-old made two quick moves from there on, signing for Augsburg and English Premier League giants Chelsea.

He is currently on loan at Real Mallorca in the Spanish top-flight division.
