Women's League wrap: Ampem Darkoa gets perfect start, Ladystrikers held at home

Defending League Champions Ampem Darkoa Ladies had a good start by posting a 2-0 win over Kumasi Sports Academy at the Nana Ameyaw Park in Techiman.

Prisons Ladies went away to whitewash Ashtown Ladies 4-0 at the Prempeh College Park.

Northern Ladies proved too strong for Supreme Ladies as they defeat the home side (Supreme Ladies) 3-1.

Fabulous Ladies were stunned 3-2 by debutants Pearl Pia Ladies.

Elsewhere in the Southern zone, last season’s finalists Lady Strikes shared spoils as they were held to a 1-1 draw by Samaria Ladies at the Robert Mensah Stadium.

Hasaacas Ladies also managed to nick out a 1-0 win over Halifax Ladies at the Essipong Stadium.

Sea Lions grabbed vitals points after recording a 1-0 win over Immigration Ladies away from home.

The Teshie town park saw Police Ladies beat Soccer Intellectuals 2-0.
