The 2020 presidential candidate of the United Progressive Party (UPP), Akwasi Addai Odike, has said in an interview on Pure FM morning drive monitored by MyNewsGh.com that president Akufo-Addo is not serious because he went to SONA to speak about toilets when Ghanaians are broke.

According to Odike the President state of the nation address clearly reveals that he doesn’t have any better plans for Ghanaians and doesn’t care about what happens the average Ghanaian.

“Doesn’t think of Ghanaians. Does he believe we’re interested in long addresses?. He didn’t address the pressing needs of people in this country. Ghanaians are crying. There’s no money in the system. Ghana is sinking financially and the president says he has built toilets and will continue to build more? That’s uninspiring, to say the least”, he said.

“However, judging by the President’s address it was clear that President Akufo-Addo is out of touch with the country he is governing, his leadership has failed to proffer solution to the creeping needs of Ghanaians ”, he pointed out."
