Trabzonspor could have chances to sell Caleb Ekuban in the summer transfer window, despite moving to sign him permanently from Leeds United.

The Turkish giants are activating the purchase option in Ekuban's loan from Leeds after being convinced of his quality over the course of the season.

It is unclear how much Trabzonspor are paying Leeds on top of the €200,000 loan fee, with reports in Turkey putting the exta payment to sign the Ghana international at €1m, while in England it has been claimed to be €2.3m.

But despite signing Ekuban, Trabzonspor could quickly sell him, according to Turkish daily Takvim.

It is claimed that Ekuban has serious interest in his services from clubs in Italy.

Trabzonspor could realise a quick profit from selling Ekuban, but it is not clear whether they will do so.

The Turkish side have been impressed with the Ghana star since snapping him up from Leeds.
