Tell us what you left at Jubilee House that you must go back for? – NPP’s Kate Gyamfua asks Mahama

National Women’s Organizer of the ruling New Patriotic Party, Kate Gyamfuah is questioning former President John Mahama to explain to Ghanaians what he left at the Jubilee House in his four years tenure as a President.

Kate Gyamfuah who was addressing traders at Atonsu Market in the Ashanti Region as part of 2nd Lady’s tour in the region, said Nana Addo’s government has implemented policies which will help change fortunes of Ghana for which reason Mahama deserves no attention. “What has he left at the Jubilee house that he wants to go back and take?” she asked, as the market women applauded.

According to her, governance is not construction of roads but governance is the implementation of strategic policies to improve the lives of all Ghanaians such as Free Senior High School, Planting for Food and Jobs, NaBco and host of others.

“President Akufo-Addo as a visionary leader will continue to implement good to make Ghanaians enjoy a better life, No government will pound fufu and serve Ghanaians every day and night. Ghana is hard for those who are lazy. Ghanaians should stop complaining and support the government to deliver.President Akufo-Addo will deliver and make Ghanaians proud” she said.

Former President John Dramani Mahama on Monday officially filed his nomination form to contest the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Presidential Primaries against seven other aspirants. He is expected to emerge flagbearer all things being equal.

The former President submitted his Nomination form endorsed by all the 275 Constituencies, ten banker’s draft each valued at GH¢30,000.00 and a Curriculum Vitae to the National Executive Committee at the party’s headquarters.

Speaking to newsmen after the presentation, Mr Mahama said “the steps had become competitive and was advantageous to the progress of the party”.

He pledged to work ethically before and after he had won the elections to maintain the integrity of the party, “I thank all those who advised me to contest and not to contest and I promise to conduct myself in a way that will be worthy of their recommendation”.

Mr Johnson Asiedu Nketia, NDC General Secretary, who received the forms on behalf of the National Executive Committee, endorsed the form.
