Former Berekum Chelsea forward Stephen Sarfo has responded to the rumored interest from Asante Kotoko ahead of the upcoming season.

The Porcupine Warriors are reportedly keen on the striker who currently plies his trade in Lebanon with Bourj FC.

Speaking in an interview with FOX 97.9 FM, Sarfo refused to rule out a possibility of a transfer but insists he is yet to receive a concrete offer.

“I have not had any conversation of that sort though but what I can say is that coach Maxwell Konadu knows me very well, now I have contract here and if my contract ends and he asked for my services I can join, because Kotoko is a big club.

“It is possible for me to join if my contract ends, Kotoko is a big club and a property of ours so if the opportunity pops up why not, it is possible”

Newly appointed head coach of the club Maxwell Konadu is believed to be a super fan of the player whom he worked with two years ago with the Black Stars B.

“For coach Maxwell Konadu he is my father and I do speak with him even when he had not joined Kotoko, he advises me a lot and it’s possible to work with him”.
