Speaking at an Easter Sunday Eucharistic Celebration, online, Archbishop Kwofie, said people should be ambassadors of the directive and practise it.

“We are told that when someone coughs or sneezes, they spray small liquid droplets from their noses or mouths, which may contain the virus. If you are too close, you can breathe in the droplets, including; the COVID-19 virus if the person coughing has the disease,” he said.

Archbishop Kwofie said it was one of the best ways to halt the spread of COVID-19 pandemic at markets and other places, where people congregate.
He stated that the COVID-19 pandemic had revolutionized many sectors of human life, including; digital education, ensuring proper hygiene and sanitation and the strengthening of the health systems in the country.

Areas such as Research and Development, he noted would be given the needed attention after the pandemic.
