The General Secretary of the opposition NDC, Johnson Asiedu Nketia says the police involvement in Hajia Fati’s attack on a journalist will lead to nothing.

“It’s a total waste of time. They [Police] are even scared”, General Mosquito as affectionately called stated.

According to him, the controversial 'Iron lady' NPP woman has been a 'deity' in the NPP over the years and been 'worshipped' by all including President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.

Hajia Fati has been accused of slapping an Adom FM journalist who was covering an event at the NPP’s headquarters last Friday as the party’s suspended Second National Vice Chairman, Sammy Crabbe, went to pick his nomination forms.

Hajia Fati punched Ohemaa Sekyiwaa as she tried taking pictures of her at the party’s headquarters.

Hajia Fati was infuriated at Mr. Crabbe, for coming to the party's headquarters to pick nomination forms to contest in the upcoming party elections.

In her bid to get an interview, the embittered Hajia Fati threw the reporter's phone away and allegedly punched her mouth after accusing her of working for Mr. Crabbe.

It took the NPP some days before officially issuing an official communiqué to condemn the attack after some section of the media threatened to blacklist the party and boycott its upcoming national conference.

Multimedia Group where Ohemaa Sekyiwaa works has also lodged as formal complaint to the Nima police station for further investigation.

But the Chief Scribe of the opposition NDC, Mr. Asiedu Nketiah believes not even the police can cease Hajia Fati’s rough treatments on individuals at the NPP headquarters – “she has been doing that for long”.

“Hajia Fati is a lioness planted at the NPP headquarters as Nana Addo’s key supporter. She is untouchable and all her doing has been endorsed by some high authorities. She can’t be controlled, not even the police, mark it anywhere. Only Nana Addo can stop her [Hajia Fati’s] nonsense”, Asiedu Nketiah told Mc-Jerry Osei Agyemang on NEAT FM’s morning show, ‘Ghana Montie’.
