Oko-Boye's appointment Akufo-Addo's best so far - Sammy Gyamfi

The National Communication Officer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has praised the President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo for appointing Ledzokuku Member of Parliament (MP), Dr Bernard Oko-Boye as Deputy Health Minister Designate.

The vociferous critic of the President said the appointment as the ‘best’ so far by the President.

“Dr. Oko Boye as Deputy Health Minister is a good appointment. We wish him well…Dr. Oko Boye as Deputy Health Minister is the best appointment so far by Nana Akufo-Addo…,” he said on Asempa FM while reacting to the news.

The medical doctor is moving to the Health Ministry to replace Alexander Abban who has been moved to the Communications Ministry as Deputy Minister.

His appointment has been appreciated by many who believe the Legislator has been performing well in communicating the intentions of the government on the coronavirus disease.

Sammy Gyamfi agrees with this assertion and has therefore urged Dr Oko-Boye to go to the ministry and ‘serve in humility and in truth’.
