#Number 12: Nyantakyi’s ousting a big achievement for me – Anas

Kwesi Nyantakyi Kwesi Nyantakyi

Undercover Journalist, Anas Aremeyaw Anas has said he is fulfilled in his latest sting operation “#Number 12” following the fall out from the football debacle.

For him, the highest point of the episode on the Football rot is seeing Nyantakyi leaving the Ghana Football scene as an administrator having compromised his integrity in the #Number 12 investigative piece.

“I think we have achieved the purpose of which this story was meant for. Kwesi Nyantakyi is gone whether he likes it or not. 48 hrs after our petition had reached FIFA, he’d already been suspended and that is a big achievement for us. Also, the Ghana Football Association is in shambles, the referees are in trouble, …don’t forget the World Cup referee from Kenya had to resign because of Number 12. So the effect has been tremendous its been exciting and like my Journalism is ‘Name, Shame and jail” he told host Francis Abban on Morning Starr on Starr 103.5 FM.

He’s insisted he’ll not be distracted by the elements of intimidation and threats going around, adding the ultimate aim is to get those indicted prosecuted after it all.

“I’m keeping my focus and ensuring that all the details that people require to ensure that there is proper prosecution of whoever is involved in this is important, and that is why i don’t want to lose that focus,” he said.

Meanwhile, the Assin Central Member of Parliament, Kennedy Agyapong says Undercover Journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas is much hit by his footage on his dubious investigative operations hence his decision to grant several interviews today.

“Why do you think he’s decided to grant interviews everywhere? I hear he’s billed to be interviewed on Joy FM, Starr FM and others tomorrow. It’s so clear he’s been hit by my investigations on him. Dankatoa!”

The maverick politician in an interview with Kasapa 102.5 FM on Wednesday night just after the premiering of his most talked about exposé video, dubbed: Who watches the watchman, at the forecourt of Ken City Media at Madina in Accra said he’s not done yet with Anas and will go the full hog to ensure he exposes the investigative journalist on his misdeeds too as well.

“This is not the end of it all. In the coming days I’ll also show Anas in different recordings deceiving people to take money as gifts and he later capturing them to put out there, What kind of cruelty is that? he told Kasapa FM’s Kwaku Opare Adasuoko.
