Nova Wellness Center marks 5th anniversary with health walk

One of Ghana’s leading specialised health centre, Nova Wellness Centre has embarked on a health walk through some principal streets in Accra to mark five years of service.

The health walk was graced by Accra Metropolitan Assembly Mayor, Mohammed Adjei, popular actress Jackie Appiah and MP for Klottey Korle, Zanetor Rawlings with close to hundred people partaking in it.

The walk started at the Ridge Office of Nova Wellness Centre through some principal streets to the Accra Sports Stadium and back to the starting point where participants were taken through aerobics and fitness tips.

Awards were given to some participants as part of activities to mark the day and citations presented to clients who have stayed with the facility since its inception.

Delivering a citation to one of the dedicated clients of the facility, Dr Naa Asheley Dordor appreciated him for his commitment over the years adding the hospital is what it is today because of people like him.

Dr Dordor who happens to be the Chiropractic Physician narrated how Emmanuel Kwashie got to be a part of the hospital and observed their client base keeps increasing because of the partnership they have formed over the years.

“This thing here (citation) goes to someone who has been with us from the beginning and has been an amazing support and he is here today. Till today, even though he has been coming here for 5 years still, we are getting patients because of what he said about us” Dr Dordor recounted.



Addressing the gathering after the aerobics session, Zanetor Rawlings encouraged participants to continue exercising and take their health seriously.

She stressed that it is only when the body is healthy that work can be done efficiently and effectively and thanked the organisers for providing the platform for people to exercise and keep fit.

“We have so many age groups here, this is really good because we have to think about our health. There is something about our health that if you lose it beyond a certain point, it doesn't matter how much money you have you can't get it back. So maintenance is very important, we maintain our cars and so our bodies need maintenance as well” the legislator remarked.

Nova Wellness Centre provides natural healthcare science which focuses on correcting spinal misalignments without use of drugs or surgeries.

Over the last five years, they have provided services to companies, individuals and entities at their Center and on request.
