Hearts of Oak General manager Mark Daniel Noonan has hailed the Phobian fans after a tremendous display at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Sunday which saw them defeating arch-rivals Kumasi Asante Kotoko.

The Rainbow club needed a moment of individual brilliance from speedster Patrick Razak in the second half as they recorded a 1-0 victory over their sworn rivals in the matchday ten clash.

Hearts of Oak boss, Noonan, praised their supporters for rallying behind them to victory in the crunch encounter.

“Hearts of Oak Supporters are amazing, I entreat them to support us in every match we play, it hasn’t been easy for us but the players have done it,” Noonan told Oyerepa FM in Kumasi

When asked if they have any package for the players, the American stressed that it is not an issue which needed to be discussed in the media.

“I do not think we have to talk about this here, this is an internal matter. The mere fact that we played and beat Kotoko is a motivation,”

Noonan was appointed as the General Manager of Hearts of Oak last month and one of his motives was to defeat Kotoko anytime they two sides meet.
