Leading members of opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) have kept bastardizing the implementation of free Senior High School (SHS) education policy for fear that their members will be brainwashed.

“The NDC knows that if the youth are educated well there is no way they can win power hence, campaigning against the implementation of New Patriotic Party (NPP)’s free SHS education policy starting very soon” former aspiring Municipal Chief Executive for Ejuisu/Juaben, Kwaku Ntim Twumasi has stated.

“Once it gets into full gear, trust me it will be a knockout punch that could land the NDC into canvass of perpetual opposition and no wonder they are trying to bastardize it” he added.

“Youth of this country need better policies like free education to make informed choices to vote people to become Presidents and parliamentarians” the physically challenged communicator of the ruling NPP pointed out during panel discussion on Kumasi-based Ultimate FM.

The free SHS policy has been a major campaign promise of the NPP government in the build of the 2016 polls which faced stiffer opposition from the then NDC government.

Despite the back and forth argument, the current government has assured its implementation will come off in September this year. '

According to President Akufo-Addo, the implementation will cover full fees of students in the public SHSs in the country.
