Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa is currently before the Ghartey Committee as the body continues its probe into the bribery allegation made against Energy Minister, Boakye Agyarko and the leadership of the Appointments Committee.

He is the last to appear before the committee following Bawku Central MP, Mahama Ayariga, Majority Chief Whip, Muntaka Mohammed and Energy Minister, Boakye Agyarko.

The committee, at its maiden sitting, heard the testimony of Mr Osei-Owusu as the first witness.

At that hearing, Mr Osei-Owusu claimed North Tongu MP Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa confessed that the allegation was cooked by the Minority to get back at the Majority and the governing New Patriotic Party for accusing former President John Mahama of corruption.
