LIVE UPDATES: Ghana Premier League (Week 10)

Hello good afternoon and welcome to the Ghana Premier League week 10 fixtures across the country.

Today, six out of the eight Premier League games will be cleared to ensure that all attention will be on the Kumasi Asante Kotoko vs Hearts of Oak clash which promises to be exciting. However, Aduana Stars and Berekum Chelsea played out a 1-1- draw in Dormaa yesterday.
But before then, here are the games to look forward to this afternoon. Games start at 3pm GMT.

LIBERTY PROFESSIONALS vs WA ALL STARS – DANSOMAN

Two of the bottom clubs face each other this weekend. Liberty Professionals lie 15th after taking seven points from a possible 24. Their 2-1 defeat to Berekum Chelsea last Monday means the scientific soccer lads are without a win in their last three fixtures. On Saturday, they face bottom dwellers Wa All Stars at the Karl Reindorf Park.
Wa All Stars are looking at relegation as it stands. They’ve secured just a point from their last five matches, with a five point haul after nine games

MEDEAMA VS ASHANTIGOLD - T&A PARK

Medeama have dropped to fifth after their 1-0 defeat to Eleven Wonders on matchday nine. This Saturday, they welcome table toppers Ashantigold, in a game that will have significant impact at the head of the league table.


WAFA VS DREAMS FC – SOGAKOPE
WAFA seems to have rediscovered their scoring knack after putting three goals past Dwarfs - away - last weekend. Despite conceding two in the process, the importance of that victory is mostly mental - it gives them confidence ahead of their next game.

This afternoon, they play Dreams FC at the Sogakope Park where they’ve failed to win in two games
