I owe Akufo-Addo no apology – NDC’s Akamba

Joshua Akamba, NDC Deputy National Organizer Joshua Akamba, NDC Deputy National Organizer

Deputy National Organizer of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) Joshua Akamba has said under no circumstance will he ever render an apology to President Akufo-Addo for inciting innocent students of a school in Tempani in the Upper East Region against him.

Joshua Akamba on his campaign tour in his bid to be elected as the substantive National Organizer of the party subjected the students to what some have described as very reprehensible brainwashing them to attack President Akufo-Addo as well as Joseph Dindiock Kpemka, the MP for the area who is also a Deputy Attorney General.

This NDC guru in a video is seen leading the students to hoot at President Akufo Addo and the NPP MP and urged the students to vote against them in the 2020 general elections because of some challenges they’re facing in the school.

Some have condemned Joshua Akamba for exposing these innocent students to partisan politics and such vile propaganda with his indoctrination.

But commenting on the issue, Joshua Akamba told Kwaku Owusu Adjei on Anopa Kasapa on Kasapa FM Friday that he has absolutely no regrets for his action and still stands by what he did.

“I don’t feel sorry for what I did, my reaction in the school came from what I saw and I’m sure that every other person with such emotion would have done worse than what I did. The scene at the school and what the students are going through is so despicable that I never want to see the video recording again My reaction was totally out of shock. Did you see the skins of the students? It’s such a shame. Even animals are not treated the way these students are being treated. Some of the students were chasing me and crying asking for just GHC1 to buy food. This is so bad.

“I don’t see anything wrong with urging the students to shame the President, what did the NPP not say and do to ex President Mahama calling him all sorts of names.”
