In a quest to detect the exact cause of what happened at the Kintampo Waterfalls, most people have created their own version of what could have been the reason behind the tragic events that occured last Sunday.

The Kyeremanko Hene of Kintampo, Nana Effa Guakro has denied ever saying that some revelers who visit the Kintampo Waterfalls engage in sexual activities which might have caused the tragedy that occurred at the site.

In a report by Daily Guide newspaper, the Chief was reported to have told journalists that the waterfalls is protected by deities that abhors immoral acts but some visitors who visit the site engage in sexual activities which compelled him to issue several warnings to visitors to desist from such acts because it could have serious repercussions but they paid no heed to his warnings.

Reacting to the claims on hot93.9fm's morning show Maakye hosted by Akwasi Boateng, Nana Effa Guakro stated categorically that he never mentioned anywhere that some people engage in sexual activities when they visit the Kintampo Waterfalls.

"I have never stated anywhere that visitors who come to the waterfalls have sexual intercourse and I have not received any reports about people committing immoral acts at the site and as such I would never say what I have not seen or heard."

He said "there are no deities protecting the waterfalls as people are saying and I don't see any reason why anyone will have sex there so I suggest daily guide should find out who really said that because I never made that statement."
