Ghanaian midfielder Kwadwo Asamoah says he misses his early years in the senior national team (Black Stars) where he played along side some senior players in the team.

Kwadwo Asamoah has been out of the Ghana team since 2014 World Cup in Brazil where Ghana had a disastrous campaign.

The 29-year-old not long ago announced his readiness to return to international duty after four years absence. Kwadwo Asamoah in an interview revealed he is ready to work with any player he meets at national camp since they're all Ghanaians and are with the common goal to defend their country.

"We are all Ghanaians and anyone that I meet at the camp I'll be glad to work with because the team now has a lot of new guys who're coming up so I'll be glad to work with them".

When queried on the those he'll be missing in the team, he surprisingly he refused to mention any member of the current generation.

"Well we all play together as a team but I miss senior players like; Stephen Appiah, Essien, Muntari, Paintsil and John Mensah but as I've said I'm ready to play with any player in the national team".

Kwadwo Asamoah recently moved from Italian giants Juventus to join another Seria A side Inter Milan after spending six seasons with the Old Ladies.
