Ghana Football Association (GFA), Presidential aspirant Fred Pappoe has cleared the air on his relationship with former GFA boss Kwesi Nyantakyi.

Pappoe worked under Kwesi Nyantakyi as GFA Vice President from 2005 to 2010, before leaving the post after the World Cup in South Africa, amid rumors of a fallout.

“There are rumors that Kwesi Nyantakyi orchestrated my defeat as the Vice President of the FA but until now there’s no evidence to back that claim. There has never been a fallout between myself and Kwesi Nyantakyi,” he said on Wamputu Sports on Happy FM.

He added “We had a very good relationship throughout our time working together. I think we are friends, there are levels of friendship, but I can consider ourselves as friends.”
