This is how we have contributed ensuring that we have observed the basic precautionary measures recommended by the experts and we hope that is will contribute significantly in ensuring that we keep safe in this difficult times we find ourselves in.”

Prosper Harrison Addo, General Secretary of the GFA who received the items on behalf of the Association thanked the player and urged others to emulate the kind gesture. He also stated that the items will be distributed to clubs in need as soon as possible.

“We want to express our gratitude to Owusu for this kind gesture, in times like these the hand sanitizer is really a product that is in need so the Football Association wants to thank him so much and also urge others to also go on and help. We know others are equally doing same, so we urge them to provide such assistance to our clubs, members and the very players who play for the club. Having received these sanitizers, all we want to do quickly is to distribute it to our Football Association members and our affected zones; Tema, Accra, Kumasi, Obuasi.
