The Afro Arab Group of companies in collaboration with the Ayawaso East Municipal Assembly with support from Fidelity Bank Ghana under the WASH program has built a 24-seater KVIP at the Nima market to help solve the sanitation crisis within the market.

The Nima community has been faced with several sanitation issues. The 8 units of 24 seater toilet WC facilities will, therefore, go a long way to serve the traders, those visiting the Nima market and residents around the market.

The Municipal Chief Executive Officer for the people of Ayawaso East, Honourable Hajia Salma Mohammed Sani Adams, in her remarks commended the Afro-Arab Group Chairman for the initiative to make Nima one of the hygienic cities in Accra.

"Alhaji Salamu is indeed making the vision of President Akufo-Addo a reality and as the Municipal Chief Executive for this area I will make sure all the communities facing toilet problems get solved," Hajia Salima added.

In all, five communities within Ayawaso East namely Nima 441, Nima Frankies, Nima market, Luga Kanda and Kusuntu line Nima will be the beneficiaries of the project.
