Ghana football legend Abdul Razak Abdul Karim says he wants the vacant Asante Kotoko coaching job.

Abdul Razak is famously remembered when he led Kumasi Asante Kotoko to win the Ghana Premier League for the first time in a decade in the 2003 season-ending Hearts of Oak’s six-year dominance.

The 1978 African footballer of the year has exclusively told Footballmadeinghana.com that he is ready to accept the role should the club approach him.

Paa Kwesi Fabin resigned last week as the head coach and the club are still searching for his substantive replacement as Akakpo Patron is in charge temporarily.

Abdul Razak “Golden boy” further stated he is the perfect man for the job because of his past experience and achievement with the club.

” I’m always ready for Kotoko. No one has contacted me yet. But my doors are always open. If they want me they know where to find me” he said to FootballmadeinGhana.com in an exclusive interview.

“I am the best man for the job. Going round and trying different coaches will not help the club. I know the ins and out of the club. I know what they want. I won’t say a lot about it. They know what I can do ” He stated.
