VGMAs19: Shatta Wale wants war and death in Ghana - Stonebwoy fires after attack on stage

Afro-dancehall star Stonebwoy has fired back at his rival Shatta Wale following a scuffle that ensued on stage at the just ended Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.

The “Kpo Keke” hitmaker was interrupted by the “Ayoo” hitmaker during his acceptance speech for the “Dancehall Artiste of the Year” award.

There was a fistfight, which led to a brief suspension of the programme.

When the show returned, Stonebwoy came back on stage to slam his fellow musician, claiming Ghanaians have long entertained his foolishness.

“Ghana, have you seen the foolishness you have all tolerated?” he quizzed. “He wants war and death in Ghana. He has tormented us for long.”

“I won’t fight anyone – but if you do, you would suffer for no reward.”

He continued that even if it comes to a fistfight, Shatta Wale can never defeat him.

“When it comes to fighting, Shatta Wale can’t face me one-on-one. I will thrash him like ‘gari’,” he concluded.
