Asonaba Kweku Darko, better known as “Super O.D.” says the vulgar language used in Ghanaian movies in recent times have made it impossible for him to watch them.

The legendary actor says the last time he watched a Ghanaian movie was two years ago.

Super O.D. has had a sterling performance in the movie industry spanning over 4 decades and he is remembered for his exceptional roles in the Akan Drama TV series popular in the 70s, 80s and 90s with his witty jokes endearing him to Ghanaians.

The 82-year-old who now resides at Agona Swedru in the Central Region says although his weak knees have made movement difficult for him, he still has a lot to offer the movie industry and wants movie producers to feature him.

He however stated he will only accept scripts that meet his standard, devoid of any profane language.
