There is no church called Pentecost in the bible. There is no christ appointed apostle today. Answer this question who designated you as an apostle? Read luke 6:12-13,11cor.12:12. Acts 1:22ff.

Nana,pls read Eph 4:11. If you believe the body of christ (the church) exists today then I believe apostles are relevant today as well as prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers. Remember in the early chapters of the Act of the Apostles, Matthias was prayerfully chosen as an apostle. He wasn't part of the original twelve. James, the brother Christ was also chosen as apostle (acts,galatians 1:19.Remember James the brother of John was murdered as recorded in Acts 12). Paul was also ordained as a prophet/teacher and then as an apostle(acts 13,gal.2:9)

Then not all the songs should be allow to sing in our church. We copying most of songs from others and the way they do their things. In the church constitution, it says we should not imitate others. My biggest concern is, the way our members dress these days to church. Especially, the pastors wife's. It is not spiritual either. The leaders are now fighting for positions instead of doing the right thing. The church itself is not spiritual either. The church is loosing it's glory.

In my opinion spirituals are songs that originated during slavery .Those songs,expressed the feelings,and emotions of those in captivity.The expressions covered religious ,social and political issues Some of their feelingsand thoughts were aired in songs .Some of the songs were used to escape.I think of spirituals as,a particular style .They have a special sound that adheres to a special harmonic structure .Jazz is jazz Blues is blues even though the same text is used A spiritual can b email gospel with a different harmonic structure

Who are we to judge someone'special lyrics and song. Kojo Antwi wrote a song Aseda and even though I don't listen to his songs as a child of God I heard Asda and I agreed with the lyrics. It was about my God and so I danced because it tallied with what is on my heart.
This Church stop telling it's members what to do if they are Spirit led and inspired. Let your members feel free to make their own judgementsite. They are not robots.
There are so many problems in the Church to be dealt with today rather than focusing on others outside it.
That song could bring a turning point in people's life at some point. Don't give up on them yet. Imagine what our Lord and Saviour Jesus would do and say. He could not stand such people in His time. Stop making it difficult for people to come to Jesus or stay under His feet by giving them laws ZDOS and DONTS
Hypocrisy is killing this church. Watch out

There are important things to deal with in the Church before we bring others outside the church down.
A Pastor once told his congregation not to watch preachings on television which I found wired because I would rather carefully select a preaching to be in the atmosphere of my home than have an Ghanaian movie on! Talk to your congregation knowing that they are adults and encourage them to be discerning. No do's and dont's please
That Law period is over otherwise people hide to do stuff because one law in the Church is difficult to obey. People have to be renewed in their minds with the word of God so that the life that they now live is Christ's not of themselves and neither or of a Church's laws.
