Almost every celebrity in Ghana is crying that the current ruling NPP is making things difficult for them and the country as a whole.
Few years ago under the opposition NDC government, Yvonne Nelson single-handedly organized and led a ‘dumsor’ vigil which she probably regrets now.
As the ‘dumsor’ became unbearable at the time, Yvonne thought it wise to embark on the vigil with some friends in the entertainment industry which went down into the history books.
Looks like her ‘party’, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has disappointed her to the max and she just can’t take it anymore.
In a recent post by the actress on Twitter, Yvonne Nelson expressed some sort of surprise as Ghana Water Company asked her to pay Ghc16,000 to connect water pipe into her home and that of her neighbors.
Yvonne couldn’t believe that for a basic necessity like water, she and her neighbors would have to pay that much to have access; what about those who can’t be able to afford such a huge amount? Does it mean they will not be able to enjoy portable water for a very long time until they can foot that bill?
Here’s what transpired on Yvonne’s twitter page and do well to read the replies too for a good laugh:
