Wei Ye Oteng to the rescue of young artistes

After producing big artists for so many years, Wei Ye Oteng of Drum Lyne Entertainment feels it is the time he helped young talents.

In this regard, he has launched a project dubbed, “Project 5” which would see him record five songs for five artists and ensure they are given the needed publicity by way of music videos as well as airplay.

According to Wei Ye Oteng, real name, Justice Oteng, all interested artistes need to do is to send a recorded song and picture to Whatsapp number +233277440438 and a team of five would do the selection of songs.

Wei Ye Oteng, who has produced for musicians like Trigmatic now (Tiyumba), Joyce Blessing, Obrafour, A Plus, Barima Sidney and Noble Nketsia, told Showbiz the initiative is his way of giving back to the industry.

“We have amazing talents in Ghana but unfortunately we don’t have investors and being in this industry for a long time, I feel it is right for me to help,” he said.

According to him, he has support from industry players, “I don’t want to put out the names but so many great industry players have agreed to come on board to help with my new project” he said.

He said Project 5 is going to be a yearly affair where he would train five underground artists and make them stars.
