Coach of Inter Allies Henrik Lehm has hit out at his captain Victorien Adebayor following Inter Allies 1-1 draw against Hearts of Oak on Sunday at the Accra Sports Stadium.

Victorien Adebayor was once again the talking point after the game after he outwitted two Hearts of Oak players before he put Samuel Armah through to finish it off in the first half, but Hearts of Oak got the equalizer in the 85th minute through Mohammed Alhassan from a goalmouth melee.

Adebayor is the player with most goals, 11 and most assists, 5 in the Ghana Premier League after matchday 13.

However, when Henrik Lehm was asked during the post-match presser that has he planned life after Victorien Adebayor because several clubs outside the shores of Ghana might be seeking his signature.

He expressed his displeasure about the Nigerien import’s inability to trackback and support in defensive duties when he is without the ball and said that he can’t make the starting line-up of most teams abroad.

“I say okay you make him (Victorien Adebayor) play, but going to the next highest level. For me offence. A lot of players will do that, but defence and mentality, he (Adebayor) still has a lot to learn, so don’t make him as a king,” Coach of Inter Allies Lehm said.

“Can you tell me how many players in Europe at the highest level don’t play forward and back, we call it two ray play.

“How many players do we have in Europe don’t work, Messi and Ronaldo, how hard they work both ways. I like him (Adebayor), he is a fantastic player, without him we wouldn’t have won many points since I arrived, but as a player, he has so much to learn before he can go and play in Europe."

Inter Allies next Ghana Premier League game is against Liberty Professionals on Thursday.
