Hundreds of people have thronged the family house of the late Ebony at Abesim, a suburb of Sunyani to sympathise with the family.

Sunyani and its environs and the entire Brong Ahafo Region were thrown into a state of shock when news broke that Ebony has died in an accident.

With an every passing minute people are seen heading towards the family house of the late Ebony.

Ebony lost her life with three others yet to be identified in an accident on the Sunyani- Kumasi road on Friday dawn.

According to information gathered, Ebony was in Sunyani to visit her mum who is based in the United Kingdom who had come down for few holidays in Sunyani.

The traumatized mother of Ebony was seen consoled by her family members.

Some of her songs include: Kupe, Sponsor, Maame Hwe, Poison etc.

Ebony Reigns[Priscilla Opoku-Kwarteng] was born 16 February 1997, a Ghanaian dancehall/Afrobeats artist widely known for her hit songs "Poison" and "Kupe", she was discovered by Bullet, a member of Ruff n Smooth fame.

Ebony was discovered by renowned musician and entrepreneur Bullet of Ruff n Smooth fame when she sent a recording of her voice and was signed to his Rufftown record label just a day after listening to the recording.

Ebony came out with her first single, "Dancefloor", in December 2015 with a video and audio release. The song became a hit on radio landing her nomination for the unsung category at the 2016 Ghana Music Awards.
