‘Stupid’ journalists can’t end my career – Mzbel fumes

Mzbel thinks Christianity is idol-worship Mzbel thinks Christianity is idol-worship

Belinda Nana Ekua Amoah, known in showbiz as Mzbel, has chided entertainment journalists for taking interest in reporting negative stuff about her with the aim of tarnishing her hard-earned reputation as well as directing traffic unto their respective websites.

Her comment comes days after it was reported that her thought about Christianity has gone beyond her disbelief in Jesus Christ as she stated in an interview with Zionfelix on ‘Celebrity Ride’ that she thinks Christianity is idol-worship.

“Me, I think it is idol worshipping because I wonder why people will put an image of a white man in their chapel and worship it. Some even have to picture the image in their minds while praying. I don’t believe that God will have to commit murder to save sinners. If God will forgive your sins she will. I believe in God but I don’t believe we have to pray through Jesus through God. I don’t believe that Jesus is God. But from Sunday school, people have been taught about Jesus so it is difficult to change their mind,” she noted.

A section of the public descended heavily on her for making what they described as an ‘irresponsible’ statement.

Unhappy about the angle chosen by journalists (blogger), considering the number of things she said in the interview, Mzbel took to Facebook to hurl insults at them.

“You can only get stupid people like yourself to insult and call me names with these headlines, but you cannot end my life or career because only God decides! Over the years this is all you do... tarnish my image and reputation just to get traffic on your blogs.

“It’s very unfortunate to see those we expect to know better perpetuating such self-seeking and deceitful agenda. Why not a headline like "Mzbel made a donation to an orphanage in Koforidua and she's appealing to the general public for more support, do you agree with her?” You only wait until something good is happening and then you quickly publish these distractive stories to cover up the hard work and good deeds, how sad!

“Why should religion be such a big deal if we all believe there is a G-d! Well, if that’s the path you’ve chosen, keep in mind that Karma is a very good sniper. Smh, time will tell,” her post read.
