Sonnie Badu leads many souls to Christ at Ghana Praise 2017

UK-Based International Act, Minister Sonnie Badu has led scores of Ghanaians to accept Christ at the just ended Ghana Praise ‘17 concert, held at the Independence Square.

The two-day Praise concert held at the Perez and Independence Square respectively to mark Ghana’s 60 years of Independence saw troops of Ghanaians singing and praising God.

At the Independence Square, Sonnie Badu and his band wowed the gathered audience to some of his old songs from colours of Africa album and ended up with worship with Minister Joe Mettle. The worship ended with an altar call on unbelievers to lift their hands and accept Christ Jesus. After praying with them, he admonished them to get a Bible believing church and attend and take their faith and Christianity seriously.

In an interview with Sonnie Badu, he express gratitude to the organizers of the Ghana Praise ’17 and highlighted how proud he felt as a Ghanaian to stand at the same place Nkrumah declared independence 60 years back.

To climax the celebration, he led the audience to all sing the national anthem reminding them of the day that Dr. Kwame Nkrumah stood at the Independence square to declare Ghana free from slavery and colonial rule.

The Ghana Praise ‘17 concert was graced by International and local artistes like Don Moen, Darlene Zschech, Lenny Blanc, Sinach, Sonnie Badu, Joe Mettle, Daughters of Glorious Jesus and Nathaniel Bassey.
