After Blakk Cedi, manager of Stonebwoy, described the recently held second edition of the 3Music Awards as the “joke of the year” the President of the Ghana Creative Arts Council Mark Okraku Mantey, has asked him to return all the awards they won last year at the first edition to the organisers.

Speaking on the Daybreak Hitz Show on Tuesday April, 2, 2019, Okraku Mantey who doubles as the CEO of Slip Music and Programmes Manager at Hitz FM told Andy Dosty the host of the show that, he can’t fathom why Blakk Cedi would try to trash and undermine the same awards they won big in last year’s edition.

He indicated that if Blakk Cedi made the unfortunate comment that the 3 Music Awards is a joke because their closest rival won more awards this year, then they should return all the awards his artiste, Stonebwoy won last year.

“We should grow above this, i got disappointed in the description that i saw tagged in the name of Blakk Cedi…. And i was so so disappointed, if it is true that it was coming from Blakk Cedi, if he is the one then respectfully he should bring all the award he won from 3Music last year and this year,”

Blakk Cedi, who was disappointed Stonebwoy bagged only 3 awards on the night, came out to state that the 3 Music Awards is a ‘Big Joke’.

Mark Okraku Mantey also pleaded with artistes not to undermine the hard work that organizers of awards schemes put into their products.
