Pimp allegations: This is just a storm, it will pass – Delay encourages Nana Aba Anamoah

TV host and entrepreneur, Deloris Frimpong Manso, has sent a word of advice to her colleague media personality, Nana Aba Anamoah, over allegations that she is a pimp, who uses her media school as a cover-up to give girls to big men for a percentage.

Delay reacting to these allegations on Insta Glam, a session of her Delay Show in her latest interview with Stacy Amoateng, she questioned why the accusers refused to mention their names or put their images out when they were telling their side of the story.

She argued, that if the stories were indeed true, what prevented them from showing their faces.

“It hasn’t been long, people were talking about it on social media, the blogs picked it up, that Nana Aba Anamoah has become a pimp who is giving out young girls to rich men. They even said she has established a media school, where she promised young girls of putting them on TV but was rather pushing them to these rich men for her cut, and if anyone protested she got angry, that was the allegation leveled against the madam.

When I looked carefully at the story, I realized one thing that run through all of it. Most of the people making the allegations wanted to remain anonymous, but truly if it has been done to you, why wouldn’t you want your name mentioned? Why shouldn’t your picture be shown? You don’t want your name to be mentioned, but Nana Aba’s name should be mentioned right so that she would be disgraced and called a pimp,” she queried.

She advised Nana Aba Anamoah to take the lessons from the accusations.

“This is a lesson to me, and to Nana Aba and everyone else, that when God blesses you and puts you on a certain pedestal, it is not your business to help anyone to become somebody, you can’t save the world in four minutes. So Nana Aba, if you are doing your media, go ahead and do it. I know it is difficult, the trolls and everything, but it is just a storm, you’ve been through worse weather, I know this too will pass, let them say whatever they want when they get tired, they will stop," she advised.

It would be recalled that Nana Aba was in the news recently, for allegedly pimping innocent girls who enrolled in her media school, for a 40% cut on the profits these girls made.

These allegations were made by another TV presenter, AJ Poundz, of Onua TV. She alleged amongst other things that, Nana Aba Anamoah used her media school she established some years ago as a ‘recruitment agency’ to run the business.

In her words, “On a more serious note, a lady sent me a message indicating that she was one of the students of the now-defunct media school which belonged to Nana Aba Anamoah at Kokomlemle. She said Ms. Anamoah was taking them places to link them to men to sleep with them in exchange for money. In the aftermath, Nana Aba Anamoah would give them 40 per cent of the money.”

To affirm her utterances, AJ Poundz added that the lady who gave the information swore on her life that it was the truth she was telling even though her name was not mentioned, neither did her image pop up in the accusation.

After AJ Poundz made these allegations, a number of people who commented on her post also claimed they were victims of Nana Aba’s pimping, but pleaded anonymity.
