PLAYBACK: One-week commemoration of Ebony's death

The one-week celebration of the late singer, Ebony Regins who died in a motor accident on Thursday, February 8 was held at the St. Martin De Porres School in Dansoman, Accra.

The death of Dancehall act Priscilla Opoku Kwarteng, best known as Ebony Reigns shook the country and got many in shock.

Family of the music prodigy is holding a one week memorial service in her honour, a week and two days after the unfortunate incident.

What usually would have been held exactly a week after the incident was postponed and that day, Friday February 16 observed as her 21st birthday.

Tributes have poured from all corners from top politicians to musicians and the likes.

While many have extolled the deceased for her feat in the music industry in this short period, she has equally recieved a backlash from many over her 'style' when she was alive.

Ebony died on 8th February along with two others when the Jeep vehicle they were travelling on collided with a VIP bus at Mankraso in the Brong Ahafo Region.

She was signed to Ruff Town Records and Midas Touch Inc.
