‘OK In Your Zone’ Tour Breaks For Christmas

“This is my best performance ever” was what the 2009 Artiste of the Year “Okyeame Kwame” said to GhanaCelebrities.Com shortly after performing live with the One Mic Entertainment Band for one and half hours at the Cultural Centre in Sunyani to bring his 3 cities tour to a success end last Saturday.

Sunyani, the capital town of Brong Ahafo Region on the 11th of December morning went through the free Hepatitis B screening whiles the rap doctor was at the various radio stations in the town to wet appetite of the people for the show.

The tour dubbed ‘OK In Your Zone’ came about with the aim of raising funds to help the rap doctor continue with his free Hepatitis B screening campaign. Kumasi (Ashanti Region) started the three cities musical and health screening tour on the 27th of November. Jubilee Park in Takoradi (Western Region) took over on Farmer’s Day 3rd December and Sunyani (Brong Ahafo) ended the tour successfully for this year.

I’m lacking words to describe Kwame’s performance in Sunyani; indeed, he pulled up another splendid performance to the admiration of all. O.K! Indeed belongs to the elites in the music industry.

In a country full of musical talents, some are like statues on stage but for the rap doctor, he is not just a rapper, he is an entertainer who knows how to entertain his crowd. He knows how to keep them on their feet when he starts till he ends his shows and the Sunyani show was no different.

Over 70% of the audiences were students from Sunyani Poly, KNUST (Sunyani Campus) and Catholic University. Kofi B, one of the best high life musicians in Ghana didn’t disappoint either; he was in his usual best. Hip lifer Joe Frazier added some flavour to the show.

Stone Flowking performed for Bradez. I have always said and will say it here again, people who put Stone on their shows must be careful because this brother is something else. If you are not careful, he will just steal the show from you.

Approximately 1,500 were screened from the three cities. ‘OK In Your Zone’ breaks for the Christmas and the New Year holidays. The date and venue for the next tour days will be announced later.

Apart from the tour, the Best Rapper Alive is also promoting his new hit single ‘Faithful’. The track talks about faithfulness in relationships. It is very often asked which of the sexes is more faithful. Click here to download FAITHFUL featuring Bertha.

According to One Mic Entertainment Music Director, Madras Da BeatMasta, Ghanaians should expect a more vibrant Rap Doctor in the coming years, performing with a live band at every show.

The tour is sponsored by the biggest telecommunication network in Ghana, MTN. GhanaCelebrities.com is proud to be part of this experience.
